NyumbaniCulture is a non-profit organization found in the northern part of Tanzania, Arusha region. The organization basically focuses on capacity building and cultural exploration by visiting different societies to learn their culture in terms of people’s ideas, customs, social behaviors and teaching them. NyumbaniCulture also aims at saving society by changing their ideology, increase awareness and increase ability to discover their potentials for better life. Man has always struggled to comprehend the mysteries of Mother Nature or the society in order to be able to answer the question why things are the way they are in every society. We struggle to provide convincing explanations of both the natural and social phenomena towards strengthening the individuals and community as whole. We also seek to study the basic nature of the society, in terms of its origin, structure, the nature of time and space, the meaning and essential characteristics of natural and social laws, and the basic principles underlying the occurrence of a given culture (society).

OUR INTERVATION

The interventions are targeted at strengthening the individuals within the knowledge, skills, and flexible systems to ensure community has strong access to the appropriate information and technologies, to enable them to improve their life.

ADVOCACY INITIATIVES, CONSULTATIONS, OPEN DIALOGUE, REFORMS etc. Nyumbaniculture supports the capacities of individuals and community groups, so they can interpret hopes and ideas into new and lasting realities. NyumbaniCulture has used a wide range of tactics to build capacities, including training, formal education, capacity building projects and networking. The type of approach used by Nyumbaniculture has always based on the specific objectives and stakeholder’ needs to be achieved. Our approaches are through workshops, seminars and special dialogue. NyumbaniCulture offers (graduate) students and young professionals’ exposure and opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through practical engagement and supervision.
